Four day walking break - Week commencing 16th of march 2012
The walks will be easy to moderate grade, maximum 9 miles, walked at a leisurely pace to allow time for photos, a breather, or to admire the views. Anyone who walks regularly should be able to complete and enjoy the walks.
The walks will be selected according to the weather but should include:-
1.Rhossili Down and Llangennith - recognised as one of the best views on Gower, this walk will start from the National trust Car Park at Rhossili and take in the sweep of Rhossili Bay. Learn of shipwrecks, a Viking Dragon, a famous son and a crippled Saint.
2. Cefn Bryn and Three Cliffs- a car- free walking day. Setting off from the house we will walk on Cefn Bryn - the backbone of Gower, learn of neolithic burials and how faerie curses besanded a castle....
