Days Out in Gower & Swansea
The surrounding area offers some amazing places to visit from beautiful natural landscapes to and quiet forgotten villages where you can almost breath the welsh culture and hear its ancient language spoken in its taverns and markets places,
If its history your after, look no further, the peninsular is inundated with ancient sites from the Neolithic Cromlechs such as Arthur's stone to the great Norman castles which are scattered around the coast line. You pass the Gower heritage centre in Parkmill 1 mile from us, its a great place to visit and begin to get a feel for the Gowers Heritage.
In contrast and only a 15 minute drive away there is the city of Swansea with its distinct old and modern quarters, galleries, museums, restaurants and night life. Closer still is the fishing village of Mumbles with its Victorian pear and traditional pubs. The ice cream parlours that the children love, and the long seaside promenade, its great for families.
